In his address to the NAACP's 106th National Convention, President Obama vigoriously detialed the injustices of non-violent drug sentences and called for Prison Reform. This was a day after he commuted the sentence of 46 non-violent drug offenders. As a former inmate---turned college graduate and taxpayer---that was unjustly sentenced, I applaud the President's efforts. Reintroducing fairness and equality to the criminal justice system is long overdue. #BlackLivesMatter #FreedomJusticeEquality
